Changelog

Follow new updates and improvements to BA Copilot.

Redesigned Process Map Workspace

The process map workspace now brings Controls, Versions, Feedback, Present, Properties, Style, and Links into one collapsible right sidebar. Map options are selected in chat, versions use preview cards, and common actions sit in a compact floating bar over the map.

Resize the sidebar to suit the task or collapse it to a narrow rail when you need more canvas space. Your preferred width is remembered in the browser.

The same workspace is now available on standalone saved maps, with access restored for smaller screens.

Open any generated or saved process map to use the Redesigned Process Map Workspace.

Easier-to-Read Process Maps

Process map labels are now larger, better spaced, and more consistent across tasks, lanes, events, gateways, flows, and annotations. BA Copilot uses spare room inside the map while keeping every shape and label in the same position.

The improved typography appears in the main editor, read-only views, thumbnails, play-throughs, and BA Copilot-rendered PNG, JPEG, SVG, PDF, and Word outputs.

This is a rendering improvement, so the stored process map file and its geometry are unchanged. Other process modelling tools will still use their own typography when they open the file.

Open any process map or create a BA Copilot-rendered export to see the easier-to-read text.

A faster core model

We have upgraded the core model behind process-map generation.

Maps now arrive around 2.8x faster on our standard benchmark: roughly 3 seconds for a typical process map, down from about 9.

The bigger win is on long briefs. Paste in a detailed procedure and you are far more likely to get a complete set of three options back rather than a partial one.

We did not trade quality for speed. Before shipping it we ran a blind evaluation across the same task set, scored by independent judges that could not see which model produced which map. The new model matched the old one.

Faster, same quality, nothing to switch on.
